HEKstar 293 Feed A is a chemically defined, protein-free and animal component-free feeding supplement developed specifically for stable fed-batch expression processes with HEK293 suspension cultures.

When combined with HEKstar 293 Expression Medium, Feed A supports high viable cell densities and high productivity by providing targeted, concentrated nutrients throughout the production phase. Feed A is intended to be used together with HEKstar 293 Feed B to establish a balanced and controllable feeding strategy during stable expression workflows.

The formulation is designed to enable robust cell growth and controlled process performance across fed-batch production. As part of the modular HEKstar 293 Media System, Feed A allows flexible, process- and cell line-specific feeding strategies during process development.
