HEKstar 293 Feed B, Chemically Defined Feeding Supplement

Description

HEKstar 293 Feed B is a chemically defined, protein-free and animal component-free feeding supplement that complements the HEKstar 293 Media System and is specifically designed for stable fed-batch expression processes with HEK293 suspension cells.

Feed B provides selected nutrient components that are intended to be used in combination with HEKstar 293 Feed A to fine-tune and balance the feeding strategy during production. In combination with HEKstar 293 Expression Medium, Feed A and Feed B together support controlled process performance, stable cell cultures and high productivity throughout the production phase.

The modular design of the HEKstar 293 Media System allows Feed B to be applied flexibly and adapted to cell line- and process-specific requirements.
