Description

SEREXIS™ 180 Sample Kit is designed for the initial evaluation of SEREXIS™ 180 as a defined replacement for fetal bovine serum (FBS) in cell culture. It contains SEREXIS™ 180 and Lipid Mix 180, enabling users to assess FBS-like performance with the flexibility to include additional lipid supplementation when required.

SEREXIS™ 180 is designed for direct substitution at standard serum concentrations and can be integrated into established FBS-based workflows without major protocol changes. It supports reliable cell growth, adherence, proliferation, viability, and morphology across multiple cell types, including A549, HeLa, MDCK, Vero, primary immune cells, keratinocytes, and fibroblasts.

With its defined and homogeneous formulation, SEREXIS™ 180 enables a decisive step beyond conventional serum supplementation: high cell culture performance, without relying on FBS.

The included Lipid Mix 180 provides additional flexibility for demanding cell systems with increased lipid or fatty acid requirements, while SEREXIS™ 180 remains suitable as a standalone FBS replacement for most applications.
